St. Dominic High School sweeps science fair prizes

April 21, 2008

St. Dominic High School dominated the 14th annual science fair capturing all first prizes in each of the categories (12-13, 14-15, 16 plus).

The School also took all Best School categories home.

Lt. governor Richards, present together with Commissioner of Education, Sarah Wescot-Williams, challenged the students to take their projects to the next level and get involved in the various opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics available across the world. Get involved in innovation and science to find answers to pressing ecological disasters.

On a remarkable note that almost all submitted projects focussed on environment and alternative energies. Apparently environment and alternative energy sources do play a very active role in the minds of the teenagers and therefore Zebrabot would like to include the following video for your perusal.
