Hurricane Bertha still hanging on but is racing off to the northeast. A tropical Depression formed just off the coast of the Carolinas and will have to be monitored by Carolinas residents.
July 19, 2008 Today: Variable clouds with scattered showers in the morning followed by showers and a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon. High 87F. Winds E at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
Tonight: Partly cloudy in the evening. Increasing clouds with periods of showers after midnight. Low 79F. Winds E at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Tomorrow: Some clouds early with showers likely in the afternoon, and a thunderstorm is possible. High 87F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy skies early will give way to occasional showers later during the night. Low 79F. Winds E at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Monday: Afternoon showers, maybe some thunder. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s.
Tuesday: Some sun with a few showers possible. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s.
Special Features: A tropical wave located at 12N and 70W is currently drenching Aruba. A slow development is still possible when it heads to Jamaica and eastern Cuba possible.
