The third tropical storm of the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season, Cristobal, formed off the U.S. East Coast on Saturday, with gale-force winds and heavy rains expected to lash the Carolinas as the storm grazes the shoreline on a northeasterly path. Meanwhile also TS Dolly, system #4, formed and is moving into the Gulf of Mexico and could strengthen rapidly.

Wednesday: Showers ending by midday. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny with a little chance of a shower. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s.
Special Features: Tropical storm Dolly is to be monitored by all residents in the coastal areas of the Gulf including Florida residents.
