NOV 11 St Martin’s Day A day commerating Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the island on November 11, 1493. Official ceremonies and entertainment takes place on both sides of the island featuring local cuisine, music, art and culture.  Contact: Commune Info | Tel. 0590 87.17.76
    Beaujolais Nouveau Traditionally on the third Thursday. Wine-tasting parties are widely organized.
    The Alliance Regatta 4 days of regatta races taking place between St Martin, St Barth’s & Anguilla accompanied by parties and shows. Contact: Marina Fort Louis | Tel. 0590 51.11.11 | Website 
  18-27 The 2nd Alliance Race 4 days of exceptional sailing, parties and shows organised by “Marina”, French Caribbean docks with the participation of Triskell organisation. This year’s edition is open to 3 categories of boats: Mono-hulls, Multi-hulls and Fun with a prologue organised one week before the race, between Marina Bas du Fort of Pointe-à-Pitre and the Marina Fort Louis Saint Martin continuing to St Maarten, St Barth’s and Anguilla.

DEC   Christmas Lighting Galore competition Christmas lighting decoration competition covers 3 categories: individual homes, businesses, yachts. The competition is held during the entire month.

  3 Miss Caribbean Hibiscus Pageant Duration: 1 week.  This beauty pageant attracts contestants from all over the Caribbean and some South American Countries. The festivities include special guests, fashion parades and shows.

  14 Go Local “do it we way”  From Dec through March Wednesdays and Sundays on the Marigot Waterfront.  The French Tourist Office in collaboration with the Commune and the local restaurants, will provide entertainment on the Marigot Waterfront every Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Sundays from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, This will be an opportunity for the local population and visitors to enjoy and taste the island’s flavours in a festive atmosphere.   31 Orient Bay Midnight Dream Festival Orient Bay Beach grand year end dinner and festival, featuring local music and entertainment along with spectacular fireworks.
