The thunderstorm cluster to the northeast of the leeward Island has become tropical depression #8 and is likely to strengthen to a tropical storm today. Forecasted is that this depression will move to the north of the Leeward Islands in the next coming days. Don’t count on it and monitor.

Special Features: The thunderstorm cluster to the northeast of St. Maarten has become a depression this morning with potential of forming into a tropical storm.
