A small craft advisory and flash flood warning
August 29, 2008

Tropical Storm Hanna is developing a long tail that may influence the weather for most part of the day today. A small marine craft advisory is in effect as well as flash flood warnings since Hanna may dump some 2-4 inches of rain.
TS Hanna is forecasted to become a hurricane in the next 24 hrs while moving away to the Northwest at 7 mph, however it’s tail may still cause heavy thunderstorms and gusty winds.
Over the weekend we still may occasionally see scattered thunderstorms and a wind gust here and there, while Hanna (as a hurricane) will eventually turn more northward and is expected to stay over open waters. Still monitor the progress of this system since nothing is more unpredictable than weather!!!
