A strong cluster of thunderstorms some 650 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands needs some monitoring by St. Maarten. The potential of development is likely. Meanwhile Hurricane Gustav is on its way to New Orleans, Louisiana with either direct or almost direct aim at the city that was distroyed by hurricane Katrina 3 years ago.
