St. Maarten and Saint Martin Weather

Lots to monitor for St. Maarten and Saint Martin. The Atlantic hurricane season is getting into higher gear as we near the peak of hurricane season. Hurricane Hanna is meandering the Turk Islands, Hurricane Gustav made landfall in Louisiana and is now downgraded to a tropical storm, TS Ike is making its way across the atlantic and is expected to become a hurricane soon and a large cluster just south of the Cape Verde Islands is showing signs of organization.

September 02, 2008 - Today: Outer bands of Hurricane Hanna may still reach us thus today variable clouds with scattered showers in the morning, then thunderstorms in the afternoon. High 86F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm during the evening, then some lingering showers still possible overnight. Low 79F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Tomorrow: Rain showers in the morning becoming more widely scattered in the afternoon. High 87F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Tomorrow night: Partly to mostly cloudy and a scattered shower possible. Low 79F. Winds variable and light. Chance of rain 30%.

Thursday: Showers. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the low 80s.

Friday: Some sun with a few showers possible. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the low 80s.
