Beaches & Landscapes
Sea and Sand
St. Maarten-St. Martin Beaches – there is one for every square mile: 37.
Your favorite beach will depend on your desire for quiet seclusion versus lots of people, bars, and activities.
For example:
Busy Beaches: Mullet, Orient, Le Galion, Great Bay, Maho (but those planes are fun to watch)
Quiet Beaches: Simpson Bay, Guana Bay, Happy Bay, Sapphire, Baie Rouge
Resort Beaches: Dawn Beach, Red Pond
In this Photo Gallery you’ll get a idea, beach by beach, of where you want to spend your vacation.
And on occasion, we’ll show you pictures of other beaches on other Islands.
ZebraBOT is currently preparing a “Beaches” directory geared to give you more details on location, mapping, and special features.
Caribbean Scenery & Vistas
When one thinks of the Caribbean, usually the first thing that comes to mind is palm trees, beaches, turquoise waters and plenty of sun. As we build out this photo gallery, we intend to show you a little of more than the beaten track here on St. Maarten-St. Martin and throughout the entire Caribbean.
