Profits in Paradise

Published by stringdude under Education

The past 4 days I spent in another world. A world that was so high energy, educational and mind altering that steam is still coming out of my ears and my eyes are still watery. I was at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando for a 4 day crash seminar on how to build internet businesses. 12 of the Internet’s top gurus (and that’s a word I don’t easily use) each gave 2 hour sessions crammed full of tips and strategies how to use the internet for business building or build highly profitable online businesses. The event was superbly organized by ETR (which abbreviates for Early To Rise, a subsidiary of Bill Bonner’s (author of “Money” and “Empire of Debt”) Agora Publishing. The speakers were not only top rated internet entrepeneurs, they are glorious teachers, who kept the 200 plus audience spellbound from 8 in the morning to 7 at night. MC Alex Mandossian is in my opinion the absolute top if you want to learn about internet success. There were several speakers who addressed how to make money with Real Estate in a marketplace that is falling apart, at least here in the US. Mindboggling tips and strategies. Other speakers addressed topics and fields such as Trading stocks and options, Vitamins and supplements and yet others addressed the ultimate strategies for internet marketing. Since I’m still in a daze trying to assimilate all the information and working on structuring my notes of 24 hours of information onslaught, I’m going to limit myself today to giving you a couple of websites to go to and check out:

www.alexmandossiantoday.com , www.earlytorise.com and www.consciousone.com (learn how to repurpose existing content for cash) and if you’re really interested in learning about making money on the internet you should check out www.supplementmillions.com . These guys, Brock and Buck (yep their real names) really did some amazing stuff anyone can do and made millions in just a couple of years. And you know what, they were in the same boat as many of us, just a few years ago. Deadend jobs, huge credit card bills and no clear vision on when life would unfold into something more exciting. Brock sold one of his supplement businesses just 2 weeks ago for an 8 figure amount. I had the pleasure to get close to them and learn a bit more on how these guys, college drop outs really, got to understand how to use the internet for their success. More on that later.

Anyway, I’m going back to assimilating some more and will get back to you later in the week on some specific case studies that will blow your mind. Until then…..

Off to Orlando for Profits in Paradise Convention

Published by stringdude under Event Updates

From Thursday through Sunday the 20th I’m rubbing shoulders with some of the undisputed gurus in making money online. Guys like Michael Masterson, Jeff Walker and Rich Scheffren have reached a success level on the internet, that allows them to almost give their knowledge away for free. Profits in Paradise is organized by the Agora Publishing Group which over the years has developed into a major force in internet related business. They publish Magazines, ezines, newsletter and blogs like International Living, Early to Rise, Money Morning, Total Health Breakthrough and many, many more. At the base of Agora stands Bill Bonner, who nowadays resides in France. Years ago I read his book “Money” and it blew me away. Not because of the power of money, but because he presented a vision on capitalism that was scary and totalitarian. Then I understood what Bonner was saying and warning about, and today we’re seeing the first real signs that his predicitons are coming through.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to rubbing shoulders, build joint ventures and affiliations and sell the friendly island. The real movers and shakers in America are looking beyond their frontiers for their future and financial well being.

I’ll keep you guys updated in this blog.

What Delta-Northwest Merger Means for St.Maarten

Atlanta carrier Delta, which recently came out of bankruptcy proceedings, immediately turned the industry’s scales and became the leading partner in the board approved 17.7 billion dollar merger with Northwest Airlines out of Minneapolis. Make no mistake, Delta is actually buying Northwest Airlines. With 800 aircraft and some 75,000 people employed worldwide, once again a new “biggest” airline in the world has been crowned. What will this mean for St.Maarten’s tourism? Well, obviously we’re just a very small pea in the pot, but for the moment it looks like there are some benefits of scale. More cities will have less burdensome, quicker access to St.Maarten. With fast connections, preferably even direct flights being the number one customer desire in airtravel, St.Maarten’s marketplace will expand exponentially with this “merger”. But there is also a downside…..

Another Stupid Travel Charge in the Making.

As I have written several stories about charging travelers for everything from fuel surcharges to resort tip charges, here is another one coming up, this time for the cruise ship passengers. It is originating in California, which means in the US, that the rest of the nation will follow soon.

Cuban Tourism: US sanctions? So what? There’s always the rest of the World.

It’s official. Cuban Tourism is on the rise. With the US economy officially in a recession, which actually shows signs that it could turn into a depression, Cuba no longer aims at finding relief for US sanctions. With the Europeans being active partners in the resort industries and the Canadians flocking by at least 50 plane loads a week into the Castro Caribbean, we’re talking half a million visitors from just that one country alone. Cuba has started it’s ascend into the Caribbean Tourism Market. Other island destinations.. beware!!HAVANA - Canadian tourists fleeing a harsh winter and buoyed by their strong dollar are flocking to Cuban beaches in record numbers and helping Cuba’s tourist trade end a two-year slump.
