PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST:
“I have always had an interest in art since I was very young. Eventually I chose the art as my career instead of just being something I was good at. I try to master all mediums to keep my imagination and creativity broad. Though mastering all is my aim I prefer watercolors (probably because it is difficult to work with for most).
I tend to appreciate both realism and surrealism although nature is something that grabs me most. Being an illustrator I try to remain flexible, cartooning is one of my jobs that helps me do that. I have done some jobs for the Today Newspaper depicting certain political topics and politicians (Sarah Wescott-Williams, Godett, Komproe, etc).
Along with painting and drawing, the commercial side of art (graphic design) is my present career. On the whole I am a very diverse artist with a love for what I do”.
